Erich "Stamp" Gunther
Erich "Stamp" Gunther was born and raised in Prussia. At age 21, he moves to Russia with his mother after his town is burnt to the ground. He is shoved into unit Réfugié by his mother because his father fought in the First World War. He acts as the radio or mail boy for the unit.
Relationships
Stamp happens to be in relations with a woman during his time in the military, sending letters back and forth. He is a mama's boy, doing whatever she says and living with her. He's also close friends with Welt and Josue.
Łukasz “Welt” Sikora
Łukasz “Welt” Sikora lived in Poland his whole life leading up to war. After Axis forces took control of his town he ran off and joined Unit Réfugié. Welt is also known for taking guns he finds interesting, whether it be from raided homes or bodies- despite being a war crime.
Relationships
Welt seems to have no relations outside of the military after having to escape his home. He's close to Stamp and Josue, protecting them at any cost and seeing them as family.
Josue Bellamy
Josue Bellamy was a french man his whole life. He grew up in a small town and he had to protect it in the military when Axis powers attacked. His unit fell in the battle, all lying in the bitter snow. He was face down, bleeding out when Welt pulled him up by his hair, trying to get his gun under him. Welt patched him and Josue was initiated into Unit Réfugié.
Relationships
Josue has a family in the prevously moved town. The town was fought over till the French military won it back, meaning they are safe currently. Josue mentions his sister in part 2 and is close to her. He's best friends with Welt after being saved by him and is introduced to Stamp soon after. Josue and stamp are good friends.
